Love Chat: An AI Romance That Remembers You

The Girl Behind the Glasses, and Why Love Chat Starts There

A black box lands on Milo's doormat, and inside are glasses that bring his perfect girl to life. That's the opening of a seven-episode series on GoLove.ai. It's also the most honest description I've seen of what anyone typing "love chat" is actually hoping for.

The full premise of My AI Girlfriend, starring Lexie (@iamlexiebabe), comes with a catch. The box was "addressed to the girl next door. He keeps it." The account isn't his, and its owner lives one wall away. It's messy and jealous, and that's exactly why it works. Nobody searching for an AI love chat wants one explicit exchange that's gone by morning. They want a partner who stays: someone who knows what was said last week, looks like herself in every photo, and picks up where you left off.

So GoLove.ai is my pick here. Its characters run on Memory and Relationship Progression and keep the same face from photo to photo. You can also meet one in a story episode before you type a word.

The screenshot shows the whole loop on a phone: her message, your reply, and a media button for photos. You don't need an account to open a chat, and her first photo is already visible. You can find out whether her voice clicks before you sign up for anything.

Here's how I'd set up a slow burn, one step at a time.

1. Open any chat and tap Chat Settings.
2. Pick her voice from the voice picker. That's the voice you'll hear in voice messages and calls, which are PRO features.
3. Set the lust level to 2. The scale runs from 1 (sweet, wholesome) to 5 (unfiltered, intense), so 2 sits near the gentle end without being prim.
4. Push response length to 4. Level 1 gives you short, snappy lines. Level 5 is rich and immersive. At 4 she has room to tease, describe the scene and ask you something back, instead of firing off a one-liner and waiting.

If you only touch one of these, make it the lust slider. Start it high and the romance turns into a sprint. Hold it at 2 for a while, then nudge it to 3 once the story has earned it, and the shift feels like something that happened between you two rather than a toggle you flipped.

Will she remember what I told her yesterday? That's what Memory is for. It keeps your history with her, and Relationship Progression lets the bond deepen over time instead of resetting every session. Together they're what turn day one into day thirty. One caveat if you're a heavy talker: the deepest tier, an 8,000-message smart memory, is part of ULTRA, not PRO.

Asking for a Photo Without Leaving the Conversation

At some point in a good love chat, words stop being enough. You want to see her on the balcony she just described, or in the oversized sweater she mentioned. On GoLove.ai you don't have to leave for a separate generator to get it.

The flow is short. Tap the media button, choose Send Photo, and describe the scene in your own words (no prompt syntax, which I appreciate). In about 20–45 seconds a photo of that same character appears in the thread, for 1 Star. Her face and body match her avatar and every photo she's sent before.

The girl in the tenth photo has to be the girl from the first. In a romance, consistency matters more than resolution.

GoLove's design is spot on here. A sharper image of a stranger breaks the spell, while a slightly softer image of her keeps it going.

Under any chat photo there's a one-tap Generate Video button that turns the same scene into a clip of about 5 seconds for 10 Stars. It's a nice extra for a moment you want to replay, but it isn't the main event.

Meeting Her in an Episode Before You Ever Type

Most love chats start cold, with a profile, a bio and an empty text box. GoLove's Series flips that around. These are GoLove's own 18+ vertical short dramas. As of November 2026 there are 10 series and 60 episodes, each running 60–100 seconds in 9:16, with subtitles in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Russian and Ukrainian. GoLove says new episodes arrive every week.

Here's the honest trade-off. On GoLove.ai you pay for photos in Stars, while OurDream puts chat, images and video into one subscription.

I won't pretend the meter doesn't matter. A photo-heavy romance on GoLove means watching your Star balance, and the 100 monthly Stars only go so far once photos become routine. This is the part that's still rough around the edges.

New characters are Private by default, so no one else sees her unless you choose to publish. The Create categories are Realistic, Anime and Trans. If anime is more your style, there are already 300+ anime AI girlfriends in their own Explore category.

If you want the romance to last, here's what to put in the description:

• Personality: not "sweet," but what makes her sweet. Is she teasing, shy at first, or quick to apologize?
• How she talks: short texts or long ones, pet names, whether she uses emoji, how she flirts.
• Shared history: how you met, a running joke, something unfinished between you. This gives Memory something to build on.
• The pace: write "slow burn" into her, then match it with the lust slider.

Of the four, the shared-history line does the most work. It turns a brand-new character into someone who already has a reason to remember you.

Where I'd Start Tonight

If I were starting a love chat tonight, I'd begin with the story. I'd watch episodes 1 and 2 of My AI Girlfriend, which are free with no account, then tap Start Chatting with Lexie while Milo's box is still fresh in my mind.

For the first evening I'd keep the lust level at 1 or 2 and set response length to 4 so she has room to talk, and I'd let that first night be mostly conversation. Once it's earned, I'd ask for one photo, ideally a scene from something we actually talked about, so it lands as part of the story and not as a vending-machine request.
